What can I use the Gearscore calendar for? - Posted By: Luigi On: 10/1/2006
Pretty much anything that has a date assigned to it, within reason. Just click the calendar and add your event to it... whether it be your birthday, a gig date, some musical product event or other special musical event.
It is NOT for concert dates, spamming in general and/or any reference/links to non-musical content - that type will not be allowed. Language must also be kept clean in the calendar as it is exposed to the world.

There are 3 types of pictures that a member may upload...
- Avatar: The member menu on the left side of screen places you in the user control panel. There are 4 buttons in the Control Panel across the top, the 3rd is marked 'Avatar', click that button to go to the Avatar page. An avatar is a picture that is displayed on every post you make. An Avatar may be uploaded to this site through that page, or you may put an URL to where your pic is stored on the web.
- Personal Photo: On the same page, you can upload an additional photo, it will not be displayed unless someone clicks on your profile and accesses it from the link at the bottom of your profile page.
- Albums: When you select the Member Menu, a 'Zone' menu will apear in the menu area at the top, in the Zone menu is an item called 'Member Pix'. Clicking that link will take you to a page where you may create a personal photo album and upload more pictures. These pictures can be titled and other members may comment on them.
